About Nevada Reserve Studies, Inc.
Mr. Douglas D. Taylor, RS, PRA Reserve Study Specialist is the owner of Nevada Reserve Studies. Mr. Taylor re-located to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1984 from Los Angeles, California. He founded Taylor Association Management in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1986 (incorporated in 1989), which he owned and operated as a portfolio community association management firm for nearly fifteen years serving clients throughout Clark County. In 1999 his management company had grown to maintain an inventory of more than fifty community associations when he turned the company over to Pat Taylor who continues today to maintain the original company name and Mr. Taylor’s high standards of customer service for which the company was founded.
His years of experience as a portfolio managing agent for these community associations has given him a background of extensive hands-on practical experience and knowledge in problem resolution, financial analysis, repair and replacement costs, safety issues, contractor requirements and technical on-site visual inspections and follow-up. Since 1999, Mr. Taylor has prepared over 1,200 reserve studies for homeowner associations and developers and businesses throughout Nevada, Utah and Arizona.

Mr. Taylor has appeared as a guest speaker along with Gary Lein of Hilburn & Lein, CPA's on the televised program, "Homeowner Talk", Hosted by Nancy Quan, Attorney and John E. Leach, Attorney, which aired in the Clark County area on KTUD, Channel 25 and Cable Channel 4. The topic of the program was to discuss various facets of association budgeting concerns and reserve study preparation.
He also prepared and presented a presentation entitled "Understanding Your Reserve Association’s Reserve Study" which was a segment of a one-day seminar for Homeowner Association Board of Directors held at Bally's Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Nevada. He has also prepared and presented a seminar segment in collaboration with a local legal firm, Burdman & Benson, LLP, focusing on "Developer Transitions as they relate to Reserve Funding of the Association".

Mr. Taylor strives to improve and refine the studies he prepares for his clients. He continually works to stay abreast of all new Nevada State statutes, requirements, articles, reporting techniques and formats. As a member of the Community Association Institute, he endorses their recently established compilation of what they call "Best- Practices" and "Ethical Guidelines" for reserve studies preparers Nationwide.
Mr. Taylor has earned the Professional Designation of (RS) Reserve Specialist from (CAI) Community Association Institute, Arlington, Virginia. He has also earned the Professional Designation of (PRA) Professional Reserve Analyst, from APRA, Association of Reserve Analysts. Nevada Reserve Studies, Inc. is also a member in good standing with the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau.
